The Australian Ship Handling Centre is
pleased to offer the following dates for the
VETAB accredited Course in General Ship
Handling.
Every attempt
is made to keep this page up to date but
please confirm dates before making any
arrangements.
Courses further
in the future are also available by emailing
to training@portash.com.au
Courses run over five
consecutive days, normally Monday-Friday.
Weeks
in white are available for booking subject to
confirmation by Port Ash.

From 1st January 2011, the five day Course in
General Shiphandling is $A14,770 per student (as
an Accredited Course is Goods and Services Tax
free). New price now includes the use of 1
tug/person for two days (previously invoiced
separately), instruction, lunch at the Centre each
day and transport to and from a Motel in the
Raymond Terrace area.
The Centre is continually investigating
accommodation and transport packages and in the
interim has arranged for discounts as described
on the Accommodation
page.
Trainees will require accommodation bookings
which provide breakfast and dinner.
